As explained before a virtual call center is a call center that is operated by a call center agent in his own home. The home based call center agent  fulfills the same duty and purpose as he would if he was working in a regular office call center. An inbound virtual home-based call center means that the all-center agent receives calls from the clients and does not have to make any outgoing calls. In examples of inbound home-based and virtual call centers include customer service call centers, technical support call centers as well as sales call centers.
